Peace shirt - pink and beige - XSmall
Not my usual colours...but pretty in pink and beige anyway!
This Peace shirt (pieced) combines designer fabric swatches, end of roll remnants and offcuts in interesting prints and mixed fibres eg rayon, silk and blended fabrics.
I'm part of a Facebook group that buys/sells designer and vintage fabrics from which I sourced a stash of vintage designer fabric swatches/samples, so I can add just small touches to garments and saved these pieces from being thrown out and sent to landfill.
As you know I love mixing up prints and colours and creating unique pieces...so much fun, and with added sustainability factor - magic!! Further to this the rayon print was an end of roll remnant, the pink collar and cuffs is silk from a clients dress I shortened recently and the fabric on back yoke the last offcut of a vintage tablecloth. Nothing gets thrown out here!!
