Welcome to Sue Catt Creative…
Where creativity isn't just something you buy... it's a way of living.
Welcome to The Creative Life.
Colour - Creativity - Connection.
One-of-a-kind clothing, art, workshops and beautiful things created to help you live more colourfully.
Maybe you're craving a little more colour.
Maybe you're looking for something made slowly, thoughtfully and full of soul.
Maybe you've been searching for permission to be completely yourself.
Welcome.
You're in exactly the right place.
I'm Sue Catt.
I'm endlessly curious, joyfully creative, and proudly a bit of a fabric mixologist. I spend my days blending vintage treasures with bold colours, unexpected patterns and beautiful textiles, creating one-of-a-kind pieces that celebrate individuality and the stories woven into every thread.
My work is inspired by an ever-growing collection of vintage and globally sourced fabrics, gathered through years of travel, op shopping and the irresistible thrill of discovering hidden gems. I love giving forgotten textiles a new chapter, transforming them into something beautiful, useful and full of life.
But what I really create goes beyond clothing, homewares or art.
I create moments of joy. Sparks of confidence. Invitations to slow down, play, make and see the world a little more colourfully.
From my cosy seaside studio in beautiful Port Lincoln on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula, I spend my days surrounded by fabric, paint, paper and possibility. It's here that ideas come to life, workshops are shared, and The Creative Life continues to unfold.
A selection of my latest pieces…
Creativity looks good on you.
Life is too short for beige.
Wear colour.
Make things.
Collect stories.
Surround yourself with beauty.
Because creativity isn't a hobby.
It's a way of living.
The Creative Life isn't about being artistic - It's about noticing beauty.
Making instead of consuming - Finding joy in everyday rituals.
Choosing colour over fear - Collecting stories instead of stuff.
Being curious - Living slowly.
Creating a life that feels wonderfully, unapologetically yours.
I have sourced old and new fabrics, trims etc in my travels near and far with the intention of designing and creating unique pieces with them.
I have realised I’m not going to be able to use all of them, so am selling some in my shop under…
