Workshop - Peace Bag - 31st January
Join us for a vibrant and hands-on Peace Bag workshop—a creative playground where colorful scraps come to life! You’ll craft a charming small patchwork shoulder bag, perfect for carrying your purse, keys, phone... and whatever else sparks your joy on the go.
We’ll dive into mixing sturdy linen and cotton fabrics to build the bag’s outer shell, mixing colours, patterns and prints as you go. I’ll have a treasure trove of precious fabric scraps for you to play with (and are included in workshop price) but feel free to bring your own special pieces too! Don’t forget to pack your chosen lining fabric (a classic quilting cotton works wonders) and strap material—I love denim, but heavy cotton or linen will hold up beautifully.
Bring your sewing machine, trusty scissors, pins, rulers, cutters, mats, and all your sewing essentials, and get ready to stitch a one-of-a-kind piece that tells your story. You’ll be fueled with tea, coffee, and tasty snacks as like-minded souls create together.
Spaces are limited—this bright, joyful workshop is the perfect mix of skill-building, creativity, and colourful fun you won't want to miss!
Saturday 31st January 9.30am - 12.30pm
All the magic happens in the welcoming atmosphere of my home studio at 17 Cranston Street, Port Lincoln. Come for the skills, stay for the fun—and leave with something uniquely you!
