Workshop - Boxy top or Dress - Saturday May 2nd

$75.00

Boxy Top or Dress (with or without ruffles)

Comfy, easy-to-wear garment in various fabrics for year-round wear. Using the basic Wiksten Top pattern as a base, you can choose to make your own version with or without sleeves, a length that suits you, with ruffles if you like, or even make it a dress. When making your own clothes you make the rules… well, there are some sewing rules!

What to bring :

  • Fabrics: woven cotton and linen are usual choices for this style, but bring whatever you love — plain, patterned, or pieced-together for a one-of-a-kind look.

  • Sewing machine in good working order.

  • Usual sewing supplies: threads, scissors, pins, tape measure, marking pen/pencil, seam ripper, extra machine needles.

  • Comfortable shoes and any personal items that help you sew happily.

What’s provided :

  • Wiksten Top pattern to use during class, plus one to take home.

  • Tea, coffee and snacks.

  • Small, focused class so you’ll get lots of help.

Details :

  • Saturday May 2nd, 9.30am - 12.30pm

  • Limited spots.

  • Venue: my home studio, The Imaginarium, Port Lincoln.

Can’t wait to make something colourful and unique with you — bring your fabric stories and we’ll stitch them into wearable art.

Just a little note about bookings 💛

Because class sizes are small and I prepare materials in advance, all bookings are non-refundable. If something comes up and you can’t attend, please let me know at least 24 hours beforehand and we can organise a make-up class together.

If you cancel within 24 hours of the class or don’t show up, the booking fee is unfortunately forfeited.

If you are unwell or have an emergency, please reach out as soon as you can and I’ll always do my best to be supportive where possible.

Thank you so much for understanding and for respecting the time and care that goes into creating these workshops — I truly appreciate it.
